Zen Teh graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and Digital Imaging from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 2011 and is currently pursuing Master of Arts (Research) on interdisciplinary art and education from National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University.  Teh’s art practice is shaped by her proficiency in photography and painting, alongside her continual investigation into interdisciplinary studies of both nature and human behaviour. Her works have been showcased in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Singapore, including the National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Art Museum and Art Science Museum. She has also exhibited regionally in Thailand, Indonesia, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and China and invited as a guest speaker at regional environmental conferences such as ASEAN Powershift 2015 and Hanoi Innovation Week 2016 on Sustainability. Her solo exhibitions include Mountain Pass: Negotiating Ambivalence at Mizuma Gallery, Singapore and at Selasar Sunaryo Art Space, Bandung, Indonesia, both in 2019; "Garden State Palimpsest" at ARTIST+RUN, Bangkok, Thailand in 2018; and "Vestiges: Tracing Urban-nature" at Alliance Française de Singapour, Singapore in 2017. Teh was the finalist for the IMPART Awards 2019 and  the Julius Baer Next Generation Art Prize 2021. She was the winner of 7th France+Singapore Photographic Arts Award in 2016. Her works are currently in collection of Singapore Art Museum, Art Stage Singapore, and private collections across the region. She lives and works in Singapore. ​
