For his ongoing painting series, Things That Remain Unwritten, which he began in 2013, Heman Chong creates abstract paintings that chart the unspoken, the forgotten or never heard stories lost in time. Commissioned by the collectors in 2020, this pair of canvases represent both celebration and loss.
