Bui Cong Khanh (Vietnam, b.1972) is a conceptual artist based in Hoi An, Vietnam. Working across performance, installation, and drawing, Bui is among the Vietnamese artists who have gained an international reputation since the 1990s. His works engage with the complex history of Vietnam, examining its resilient, yet destructive dance between colonial occupation, political independence, and economic progress. He has presented several solo exhibitions in Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Cambodia and participated in prestigious international exhibitions including the SEA Arts Festival Busan Biennale in 2005, the Asia-Pacific Triennal of Contemporary Art Queensland in 2009,  and the Singapore Biennale in 2016.
